Included Tour Options
Tours will take place on Tuesday 29 September for all partners & children.
All tours are exclusive to AMCA National Conference delegates and will be hosted by a local guide. Return transfers will be provided from Adina Darwin Waterfront and Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront.
You may also choose to enjoy free time instead of joining a tour.
Children aged 17 years and under must be accompanied by an adult on all tours.
Any age restrictions specific to individual tours are outlined below.

Litchfield National Park Day Tour
Tour time: 7:30am - 5:15pm
Age Range: All Ages
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Top End on this full-day adventure to Litchfield National Park and Berry Springs. Perfect for those looking to cool off and unwind, this tour showcases some of the region’s most stunning waterfalls, natural rock pools, and iconic landscapes.
Enjoy the opportunity to swim in pristine plunge pools at locations such as Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, and Buley Rockhole, surrounded by lush monsoon forest. The tour also includes a visit to the fascinating Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds, offering a glimpse into the Territory’s unique ecosystems.
A stop at Berry Springs Nature Park provides additional time to relax in crystal-clear springs. Refreshments including cold water, lunch, and fresh fruit will be provided throughout the day.

Jumping Croc Cruise
Tour time: 7:30am - 1:30pm

Discover the unique wildlife and landscapes of the Northern Territory on this unforgettable half-day adventure. Travel out of Darwin to experience the thrill of a 1-hour Jumping Crocodile Cruise aboard the Pathfinder, where you’ll witness these incredible creatures up close in their natural habitat.
The journey continues with a visit to Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, renowned for its abundant birdlife and scenic wetlands, offering a true taste of the Top End’s natural beauty.
Enjoy a relaxed pub lunch at the iconic Humpty Doo Hotel, a true local favourite, before returning to Darwin.

Lagoon Day Spa
Activity time: 10:15am - 3:15pm
Age Range: 18+ Only
Unwind and recharge with a relaxing spa experience at the iconic Mindil Beach Casino Resort. Enjoy your choice of a 90-minute facial or massage, complemented by a light lunch and full access to the spa pool and facilities.

The experience will be delivered in small groups, allowing you to fully relax between treatments while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Delegates not in treatment sessions can make the most of the pool and resort amenities.

Crocosaurus Cove
Activity time: 10:30am - 1:30pm

Join us for a memorable visit to Crocosaurus Cove, Darwin's premier wildlife attraction and home to some of Australia's largest saltwater crocodiles. Located in the heart of the city, this unique experience offers the chance to get up close with the Northern Territory's most iconic reptiles and native wildlife.
The visit includes an exclusive animal handling session and keeper presentation, where you'll meet a variety of fascinating creatures and learn about their behaviours, habitats, and conservation. Following the presentation, enjoy free time to explore the attraction at your own pace.
Wander through the extensive exhibits featuring massive saltwater crocodiles, freshwater aquariums, turtles, lizards, and other native species. With plenty of opportunities for wildlife encounters and photographs, this is a fantastic way to experience some of the Top End's incredible wildlife in a safe and engaging environment.
